Month six looks very different from month one because the relationships are warmer and the story bank is deeper.
We track four things: coverage volume and domain authority, referral traffic from placements, share of voice in your category, and earned media value. For influencer campaigns, we add direct attribution via UTM parameters and promo codes. PR is not a direct-response channel, but the results are measurable if you set up tracking correctly. Follower count is the last thing we look at. We check audience authenticity scores, fake follower percentages, engagement rate trends over time, audience demographics, geographic breakdown, brand safety history, and past sponsored post performance. A creator with 40,000 highly engaged followers in your exact target demographic is worth more than a creator with 400,000 diluted ones.
